TINKLE Digest December Cover

I do not think I can ever do justice to a Ram Waeerkar character, but this is my humble tribute to him :)

For those who do not know, Ram Waeerkar was one of the most prolific and prominent comic book illustrators in India. He has influenced and inspired a whole generation of comic book artists.Suppandi (the character in the cover) is one of the most popular characters created by him. By nature a little goofy Suppandi is your adorable house help who often runs into silly situations because of his literal mindedness. As a kid, the joy of reading Suppandi came across not only by the situational gags, but also by Ram Waeerkar's powerful and exaggerated gestures. It would always be an honour to redraw Ram sir's character.

Thanks again to the TINKLE team :)

TINKLE Anniversary cover

Is it just me, or RGB-CMYK goofups... that the girl seems a little yellower than I had intended!

Never mind! Thanks to TINKLE.
